Head of Sales - SaaS

Head of Sales opportunity with a well-funded and ambitious FinTech in London.

Our client is an exciting and FCA regulated FinTech startup that has had steady growth over the past few years over the past few years and is now looking to scale. Operating within the financing space they are looking for an ambitious and driven Head of Sales with financial services experience to work alongside the business founders and build a strong sales infrastructure, scoping the tools that will define the success of the function and also grow a sales team.  

About the role:

  • You’ll work with the founders on developing the sales strategy, resulting in a successful funnel from digital marketing and lead generation through to a smooth sales and onboarding process
  • Establishing targeted sales strategies, aimed at both early stage and enterprise clients
  • Leading a sales and marketing team that you will be responsible for building once the sales infrastructure is in place
  • Leading on the recruitment of sales team members & developing a competitive performance-based sales culture, setting targets and managing budgets
  • Meeting with clients and develop a sale and pricing framework
  • Ensure the right support is in place from third parties to aid the sales process
  • Always be analysing and assessing the sales process for improvement
  • Produce performance reports on a monthly basis
  • Attend industry & networking events and public speaking

About you:

  • Experience in a Head of Sales role previously within a scaling SaaS business
  • B2B/Enterprise software sales experience is essential
  • Sound financial services knowledge
  • Confident in your lead generating processes
  • Previous pricing experience for enterprise clients would be an asset
  • Strong organisational skills & understanding of business-planning and budgeting
  • Genuine interest in financial technology (fintech) and how users interact with it
  • Confident in presenting complex ideas in an easily understandable manner
  • Excellent communication skills (incl. fluent in English)
  • People management skills, having previously developed and lead successful sales teams
  • Finally, great interpersonal skills, team player and a self-starter!

The Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £130k OTE dependent on experience & commission
